KLINK

Klink Wine Tourism Awards

When it comes to quaffing wine, sampling delicious food and seeking out new experiences, who better to ask than the people who go out there and try everything?

That’s why Wine Tourism South Africa is celebrating its sixth year of the Klink Awards – the first-of-its-kind accolades campaign that’s driven by you, the visitor.

Klink is about far more than wine, by nominating and voting during the campaign you show your support to your favourite wine farm, winelands restaurant and activity. Our innovative categories are designed to highlight the unusual, the traditional, the exceptional and everything in between.

To illustrate what we’re looking for, a few of last year’s winners included Waterford Wine Estate, which won the ‘Connoisseur’ award for the best vintage tasting experience, Le Pommier Wine Estate was awarded ‘Country Comfort’ for offering self-catering accommodation that promises a relaxed and comfortable stay and Van Loveren received the ‘Tracks and Trails’ award for their MTB experience.

The Supernova award, which recognises the wine estate that received the most consumer votes, went to De Grendel.

The driving force behind the Klink Awards, Monika Elias believes that South Africa offers wine fans, both local and international, the experience of a lifetime. She’s a publisher, marketer and wine enthusiast, whose passion for the wine industry led her to publish the quintessential Wine Tourism Handbook, now in its 11 edition.

What are you waiting for? By participating in the multi-platform digitally-driven Klink Awards campaign, you’ll find out what’s hot and happening through 10 weeks of fun and engaging wine farm communication, aimed at growing your love for your favourite brands, which you can share with your friends. Oh…And there are also awesome prizes up for grabs. Sign up for the Klink newsletter today.
